Meet Leah!
Leah loves everything creative and art-related. Creativity is such a big part of her life that she even has “LIVE ART” tattooed on her knuckles.
She has been making art ever since she was a wee girl, starting with her Crayola crayons and colouring books. “Violet” and “macaroni and cheese” were two of her favourite colours. That early love for creativity never left.
Leah started her tattoo career in 2018 and opened her own private tattoo studio in 2023. She enjoys tattooing many different styles, but if given the choice, her favourite work looks like the tattoo shown here: black and grey pepper-shaded human aspects such as faces, bodies, and hands, paired with a coloured nature component including flowers, leaves, mushrooms, ferns, and tree branches. The combination of these two styles creates a really beautiful contrast.
Astrologically, Leah is a Gemini sun, Scorpio moon, and Leo rising, and her Myers-Briggs personality type is INTP.
Her hunger for creative endeavours and learning new skills has led her to explore many different arts and crafts over the years. These include drawing with all types of mediums, painting, airbrushing (not a fan), spray paint, oil, acrylic, basket weaving, furniture restoration and alteration, pottery, sewing, leather work, latex work, glass carving, sculpture, collage, photography, knitting, crochet, cooking, gardening, wild crafting, foraging, soap making, salve making, and probably more that she has forgotten about.
When she is not creating, Leah loves being outdoors with her little adventure pup, Haruki, the cutest Shiba Inu. They enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, and snowshoeing together. When she is not outside, she is often found with her face buried in a book, working out at the gym, or every once in a while getting pulled into a Nintendo Switch gaming vortex (DOS2 and BOTW).
